I was a young kid living the American Dream during my childhood. My family owned a home in the suburbs, we had nice cars, clothes and took vacations. However, that dream became an American Nightmare one morning as we were raided by the state and federal police. That's the day my life changed forever as my father was sentenced to prison. After being immersed within the incarceration system and as I felt trapped myself, I realized that I couldn't follow in my dad's footsteps. I had to make a difference not only in myself, but in my relationships with others in order to see change. Due to the decision to shift my attitude, I now have had the opportunity to see life transformation in many others. Now, I desire to spread that hope in restoration and reconciliation. When relationships are strong, people experience fulfilling lives contributing to their own life transformation.
